Preseason split helps Raiders get ready for season

After splitting a pair of preseason games last week, Navarre High School baseball coach Mickey O’Quinn was happy with the Raiders’ progress heading into their season-opening tilt at Washington on Feb. 15.

The Navarre High School girl’s basketball team lost to the Fort Walton Beach Lady Vikings, 58-16, in one of largest deficits ever recorded by the Navarre team.

The Navarre Raider basketball team opened play in the 1-5A district championship tournament at Tate High School Tuesday with a hard fought, 51-47, win over the Pace Patriots.
