The echoes of pads popping and helmets clashing were just some of the sounds that could be heard May 4 at the Navarre High School practice field.

The Raiders varsity football team completed its first full week of spring practice on Friday, and by the time the final whistle blew, the outline of just how much work lies ahead for the 2012 squad began to take shape.
