Raider teammates sign to be competition

Grant Golombeski (left) and Victor Byers (right) recently signed agreements to play football at the college level. Byers signed with Belhaven University, Memphis, Tenn., in the Mid South Conference and Golombeski signed to play football for the Faulkner University  Eagles in Montgomery, Ala., last week. Byers, a tackle and mainstay of the Navarre Raider defense attended with his mother, Melissa, and father, Michael. Golombeski signs with family friends, Beth and Vince DePersio, in   attendance. Grant’s parents are stationed overseas. Raider football Head Coach Chad Lashley stands between his former players, who will now play on opposite sides of the field in the Mid-South Conference.
