Lady Raiders head into district championships on winning notes

Shelby O’Brien will be charged with holding down the hot corner third base position in Navarre’s bid for a district championship beginning April 21. Navarre softball Raiders will put its regular season district best, 8-2 record on the line at 7 p.m. April 21 at Escambia in the semi final game of the district 1-5A championship tournament. Navarre will face the winner of the Tuesday quarterfinal match between Escambia and Pace. 


The Lady Raiders closed out their regular season this week with a pair of convincing wins. The first was a mercy rule, 16-1, five inning home win over Ohio’s Reading High School Lady Devils followed by an 8-2 triumph over arch rival, Gulf Breeze on Thursday.
