Led by senior Ryan Couch, the Navarre High School boy’s tennis team edged Pace High 4-3 on March 30 to avenge an early season loss.
Couch defeated Pace’s Zachary Peranich 7-5, 6-3. Other boys’ team winners included Justice Cox and Thomas Vatter, in two grueling singles matches, 6-3, 2-6, 10-6 and 3-6, 6-0, and 10-8 respectively.
The Lady Raider Tennis Team defeated the Lady Patriots by a 5-2 score. Sophmore Leah Rojecki continued to prove why she is not only the top rated Navarre player, but also one of the most dominant female tennis stars in Northwest Florida. Rojecki won her singles match over Brittany Thibodeaux 6-2, 6-0. Other Lady Raider winners included Kaila Williams and Naomi Mascharak in singles.
