Navarre linebacker and safety Gio Randolph became the third Raider football player to sign with a Division I football team Friday.
He signed his letter of intent agreeing to play for the Grambling State Tigers, La., in the Navarre High School Media Center. Ian Lockwood told me I’m ready, and it should be Division I or none,” said Randolph, “ and I’m carrying out his words. I spoke to Grambling’s head coach, former NFL great Doug Williams, and he said I have the aggressive type of game that he wants for the rover spot on his rover defense.” As he signed the letter his mother Stacie, left, and father, Darryl Randolph and younger brother Quenttin, right, sat next to him while Raider Head Coach Chad Lashley, left, and school principal Brian Noack witnessed the event.
