If Navarre High School's Raiders were intimidated by perennial powerhouse Niceville and its storied home field advantage Friday at Eagles Stadium, they didn't show it.
"We have an uncommon group," Navarre coach Chad Lashley said after the underdog Raiders dismantled the District 2-4A champion Eagles 28-7 on their own field. "This has felt like a playoff team all year. (The players) go above and beyond what a lot of high school players are willing to do to accomplish what they want to accomplish. Whatever they have to do, they do it."
