Navarre High School came out on the short end of a 33-13 score Friday as the Raiders were unable to contain Pine Forests’ multi-talented star, Loucheiz Purifoy.
Purifoy ran for 108 yards in the opening quarter, scoring his first of two touchdowns. His second came on a 17-yard burst in the fourth quarter as he finished with 148 rushing yards.
The setback was the second in a row following two season-opening wins for Navarre. It was also the District 1-4A season opener for both teams.
