COAST GUARD ENDS SEARCH FOR 2 MISSING FROM CUBAN MIGRANTS' RAFT
One survivor was found aboard the homemade raft Monday in the waters off Key Biscayne. He told authorities that three people had possibly drowned during the voyage across the Florida Straits. One body was found. The Coast Guard called off its search for the other two men Tuesday night after searching nearly 1,500 square miles over 25 hours.
ONE ARRESTED IN SHOOTING DEATH OF TAMPA CAB DRIVER
Devante Bell is charged with first-degree murder. Tampa police say they're still investigating additional suspects in the death of John Dooley. Authorities say two suspects called for a cab Sunday and shot and killed Dooley while en route to their destination.

The lawsuit was filed over a 2012 helicopter crash in the Bahamas that killed a prominent tax attorney. The widow of Lance Valdez filed the wrongful death suit Monday in Miami federal court against real estate magnate Jeffrey Soffer. He owns the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach and is CEO of the Turnberry Associates real estate empire, and he's also married to model Elle Macpherson.
JETBLUE PILOT STRUCK WITH LASER LIGHT ON WAY TO FLORIDA
The pilot was heading from New York City to West Palm Beach when he said he had to shield his eyes when a green laser was pointed at the plane. Local authorities say this is an "ongoing" issue at the West Palm Beach International Airport.
