The American Civil Liberties Union of Florida and the Florida Justice Institute announced Tuesday the filing of a federal class action lawsuit against Santa Rosa County Sheriff Wendell Hall.

A Navarre man who was charged with armed robbery following a series of incidents last fall is facing life in prison for his crimes.

Robert Jay Rosado, 33, is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 28 before Santa Rosa County Circuit Judge Thomas Santurri.
