Sheriff’s Office gets new information officer

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is getting a new public information officer effective Jan. 5.

Current PIO Sgt. Scott Haines is transferring within the department. He said he voluntarily requested the transfer. Dep. Richard Aloy of Navarre will be taking over as PIO.
