County Thanksgiving closures

The following offices and departments will close Nov. 22-23 in observance of Thanksgiving. Regular hours of operation will resume on Nov. 26:

Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners

The library system and animal shelter will also be closed on Saturday, Nov. 24.

The Central Landfill located on 6337 Da Lisa Road will be open from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 23 and Nov. 24

Santa Rosa County Clerk of the Court

Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser

Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections

Santa Rosa County Tax Collector

Garbage pickup for south end franchise areas only (generally the unincorporated areas of the 32562 and 32566 zip codes):

Waste Pro Customers – Household garbage and recycling collection service will be postponed by one day. Thursday collection day is rescheduled for Nov. 23 and Friday service is rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 24.

Waste Management Customers – Thursday household and yard debris service is cancelled and will resume on the next regularly scheduled pickup day. Recycling pickup is rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 24.
