A Milton man was arrested on Nov. 2 in Escambia County after a warrant was issued by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Pardue was a school bus driver during the 2011-12 school year, according to a press release. “While working in that capacity, Pardue was making flirtatious comments toward a minor, and made comments about their body,” the release stated. “Pardue began to communicate with the minor through text messages and on Facebook. Nude photographs were exchanged during this communication. The conversations became more sexual in nature, and Pardue ended up meeting the minor on three separate occasions.”
On these occasions, Pardue provided the minor alcohol and sexually molested the minor. Pardue was charged and arrested for use of a computer to solicit a child and lewd/lascivious behavior. Pardue’s bond was set at $260,000 by a judge and Pardue is currently being held in Escambia County until he can be transferred to Santa Rosa County.
Anyone with any further information concerning possible illegal activity committed by Pardue is asked to contact the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office at 983- 1100 or Santa Rosa Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP (7867).
