Firefighters contain brushfire along U.S. 98

Brush fire near Nature's Way along U.S. Highway 98 in Gulf Breeze.

Firefighters and the Forestry Service are currently working to contain a brushfire near Nature's Way along U.S. Highway 98 in Gulf Breeze.

 The fire is near a Gulf Power electrical box and responders belief it may have been caused by sparks from the welders on the towers. 

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
