Voter registration deadline

October 9 is the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 6 General Election.

Ann Bodenstein, Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Election, said residents can register to vote at the Santa Rosa County south service center located at 5841 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, one block east of the zoo on U.S. Highway 98.

The center will be open Oct. 1 to Oct. 5, and Oct 8 and 9 from 8a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Residents must have photo identification: a drivers license, a Florida ID, military ID or passport.
