Help needed to decorate for Navarre's Christmas in the Park

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to help decorate Navarre Park for its annual Christmas in the Park celebration, currently scheduled for Dec. 3.

Volunteers are needed on three consecutive Saturdays: Nov. 5, 12, and 19, from 9 a.m. - noon. Pre-registration is not necessary. Simply show up ready to hang lights, holly and the Christmas tree.

This is the 17th year the Navarre chamber has hosted the family-fun event. This year, the parade starts at 2:30 p.m., with the park festivities starting at 4 p.m.

Children will be able to get their picture taken with Santa Claus, as well as pick treats from Mrs. Claus' Bakery.
