Juana’s pulls best business ‘hat trick’

Kevin and Ken Rudzki

The Rudzki brothers weren't looking for awards or accolades when they opened Juana's Pagodas and Sailors' Grill in 1989.

They simply saw a need for a beach place that families could come to and enjoy. Their business has thrived and survived over the last 22 years. They have experienced the thrills of busy summers, and the scares of hurricanes and an oil spill. Through it all, they maintained a sense of commitment to their business, but more importantly, to the community of Navarre.

According to statements made by Kelley Fuller during the 2012 Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce 2012 Installation and Awards Banquet on Jan. 14, what made Juana's Pagodas and Sailors' Grill stand out was its "exceptional volunteer and financial contributions to the Navarre Community."

That commitment led the Chamber to select Juana's as Business of the Year. The category had 12 entries; each entry had been selected as Business of the Month.
