Commissioners reduce Navarre Fishing Pier prices

After much discussion, the rates for annual passes to the Navarre Fishing Pier were voted on to be changed today by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners.

The board voted to change the adult annual pass to $150, the annual senior pass to $100, the annual youth pass to $75 and the annual family pass to $300.

The board also discussed possible discounts for disabled pier patrons, but will vote on those options after staff has time to research disability documentation from various issuing organizations such as the Social Security Administration in order to determine how to grant disability discounts for pier passes.

Rate changes are in effect now.
