Hurricane preparedness tip of the day

May 18   Keep important family documents such as copies of insurance policies, identification and bank account records in a waterproof, portable container or scan them and save on a flash drive, discs or external backup devices.

With the start of hurricane season only one month away, Santa Rosa and Escambia counties have joined together to help residents prepare for the upcoming hurricane season with “Project Prepare- Countdown to Hurricane Season.”  Project prepare offers residents simple tips on how to prepare their family and homes for the hurricane season which begins June 1 and ends November 30.
