Teacher of the Year announced

Fifth grade teacher Annette Smith at S.S. Dixon Intermediate in Pace celebrates with her students upon being announced as Teacher of the Year. The 2012 Santa Rosa County Teacher of the year was announced this morning, Jan. 28.

Annette Smith is a fifth grade teacher at S.S. Dixon Intermediate in Pace.

She was surprised this morning by the Superintendent of Schools Tim Wyrosdick, the Santa Rosa Education Foundation and the media.
