The following offices and departments will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 24, for the Christmas holidays,  and Friday, Dec. 31, for New Year’s:

• Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners
• No Saturday hours for Animal Services (December 25 or January 1)
• Santa Rosa County Clerk of the Court
• Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser
• Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections
• Santa Rosa County Tax Collector

The Central Landfill located on 6337 Da Lisa Road will close at noon on Friday, Dec. 24, and reopen on Monday, Dec. 27. The landfill will be open on Friday, Dec. 31, and closed on Saturday, Jan. 1.

Libraries will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, and resume regular hours on Monday, Dec. 27, be closed Friday, Dec. 31, and resume regular hours on Monday, Jan 3. There will be no early closings on Thursday, Dec. 30; this includes no Saturday hours for the library system (Dec. 25 or Jan. 1).

The Navarre Visitor Information Center, 8543 Navarre Parkway, will be closed Dec. 24- 25. On Dec. 31, the center will close at 1pm.
