Strong-arm seniors ready to dominate

At the start of last baseball season at Navarre High School , the big question was who would be the starting pitcher. Both of the team’s starting pitchers had graduated and the team had few members with any pitching experience.

After a record-winning season last year, the Raiders are now loaded with pitching talent. B. G. Hill had a record of six wins and only two losses and set the single season win record for the Raiders.  He was awarded the most valuable pitcher award.
David Rahmes did not start pitching until the last three weeks into the season but came on strong to pitch in the final regional playoff game. Rahmes also set the record for most RBI’s in a year. When Hill and Rahmes  are not on the mound, they each play first base.
Josh Pyeatt worked in relief most of last year but started a few games and ended the year with a 3–1 record. He also plays any infield position and his versatility was rewarded with the coach’s award at the end of the season.
