Ken Feinberg, the Independent Administrator of the Deepwater Horizon Victims Compensation Fund, will headline a community forum in Pensacola on Tuesday, Aug. 10, hosted by U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson and the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. The forum will provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and receive input from Feinberg on his vision for improving the claims processing.
The forum will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the University of West Florida Conference Center at 11000 University Parkway, in Building 22.
“We need to make sure folks get the help they need,” said Sen. Nelson. “This will give the community an opportunity to learn more about the claims process and voice any concerns.”
The event is free and open to the public, however reservations are required. Those wishing to attend should contact Mallory Wilson at the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce no later than 4 p.m. Aug. 9, at (850)438-4081 to reserve a seat.
