Despite reports Wednesday of mousse appearing between the Pensacola Beach Pier and the ranger station at Fort Pickens gate, Navarre Beach remained unscathed - for today, June 23.
Cleanup crews repsonded to Pensacola Beach to clean up the three-mile long oil-laden mousse, as well as giant-sized tar balls, which had washed ashore.
Just dime to five-inch sized tar balls were reported east, including Navarre Beach, and in Northwest Florida.
