Highway report finds bus driver at fault

 

After more than four months of investigations, the Florida Highway Patrol found Jacqueline Rock at fault for a Nov. 10, 2011 accident on U.S. Highway 98 and Whispering Pines Boulevard that resulted in the death of Navarre resident George Potter III.

According to the report, Rock was driving a Santa Rosa County school bus traveling westbound on U.S. 98 when she struck Potter’s SUV. At the time of the incident and in subsequent interviews, Rock maintained that the signal at Whispering Pines and U.S. 98 was green, giving her the right of way
