Donor sought for decorated veteran

Navid Garshasb of Navarre needs a bone marrow transplant because of a blood disorder he was diagnosed with due to radiation and chemotherapy treatment used to combat a brain tumor.

Now he needs help that only another person can provide through a bone marrow transplant. Edward Negron, a close friend and comrade, sent out an email asking people to sign up to be a possible bone marrow donor.

To join the national registry, go to www.marrow.org and click on the Join the Registry tab at the top of the page. Garshasb’s name has been place on the national bone marrow registry.
