Study reveals minimal changes to military zones

Santa RosaCounty residents and county officials attended an Aug. 21 public Small Area Studies meeting held in Milton.

“The overall purpose is to achieve compatibility through collaboration, working together and partnering,” said Celeste Werner, director of planning with Matrix Design Group. “It’s not to say you can’t do something or develop at all, but it’s to develop (a plan) that supports property rights, economic development in community as well as looking out for the protection of the military mission… (it’s) looking for that balance.”
