VFW groups gather to honor local business

The Prisoner of War/Missing in Action table sits in the corner of the bar area at County Line Pizza & Pub.

In the restaurant business, an empty chair at an empty table is not normally a good sign.

Most proprietors want to see every chair filled with happy customers enjoying food and drink. For Greg White, owner of County Line Pizza & Pub, this empty chair and table are a source of pride.

Three local Veterans of Foreign Wars posts honored White and his establishment with a POW/MIA table on May 28 , the only memorial of its kind that exists in a civilian institution.

Three different VFW organizations worked together to honor White and County Line Pizza & Pub with a table. WFW Post 4407 in Gulf Breeze, Post 11367 in Mary Esther and Post 4833 in Milton combined their resources to make the vision of a POW table a reality.
