SRMC recognized as education partner

Santa Rosa Medical Center was recently honored as a recipient of the 2012 Commissioner’s Business Recognition Award for being an outstanding business partner to public school education and supporter of student success in Santa Rosa County.

According to Cheryl Smith, director of work force education for the Santa Rosa School District, the award recognizes Santa Rosa Medical Center for its ongoing collaborative relationship with teachers and school administrators. “Santa Rosa Medical Center is an avid supporter of the school district, offering expertise and involvement that is invaluable to student success. They have also provided numerous donations to our schools, such as a defibrillator for Berryhill Elementary School.”
