Keeping bedbugs from biting may be harder than you think.
The speck-sized pests are wreaking havoc in hotels, office buildings and retail stores across the country.
Though they are most often seen in densely-populated cities and in decidedly-more third-world countries, bedbugs are becoming less picky about where they set up shop.
“Bed bugs are notorious hitchhikers,” said Tim Sirois, spokesperson for Panhandle-based Superior Pest Control. “They are literally re-populating the world.”
