Lifeguard Ambulance makes high-tech advance

     If someone is having a medical emergency on Navarre Beach, Lifeguard Ambulance will be the first to respond.

The ambulance company contracted with Santa Rosa County has two fully-functional field hospitals set up along the Gulf Coast – one at Navarre Beach and the other, Opal Beach.

Each is staffed with two paramedics and two emergency medical technicians, EMTs.

They are also staffed with a medical physician – via Skype.
