Colorectal Cancer: early detection is key

When doctors told Ida DuBose she was pregnant, she was in disbelief.  Already the mother of a 15 year-old son, DuBose had been told she couldn't have any more children. 

"I argued with the doctor for about an hour," she said.  "I really couldn't believe it.  I told him ‘we'll see.'"

Little did she know, the child she was carrying would save her life.

DuBose went into labor six months later on June 16, 1983.
