Navarre Beach is still open for fishing and swimming, with no reports of any oil product washing along its shores.

BP hazmat crews continue to scour the beach, looking for oil product, but have yet to discover any between yesterday, June 23 and today, June 24. Two links to live web cams on Navarre Beach are available at www.santarosa.fl.gov/oilspill.

There have been large amounts of June grass, a feathery-like algae, washing ashore. This is normal.
