Cub Scouts Gage Baillio-Clark and Adeus Baillio-Clark of Navarre wanted to do something special on Oct. 27 for National Make a Difference Day.
With the help of their mother, Helena Baillio, the Scouts decided to participate in the ‘Kids helping Kids: Trick or Treat for UNICEF’ program. They will be distributing donation boxes On Oct. 27 throughout the community to participating businesses.
Participates in the National Make a Difference Day will receive a certificate of appreciation from UNICEF and United Nations. Children can also order their own Halloween donation boxes online at http://youth.unicefusa.org/trickortreat/participate/. The boxes can be individually decorated and children can take donations as they go trick-or-treating through the neighborhood.
