Strict peanut policy adopted at NHS

A change of policy at Navarre High School over peanut allergies has been the source of confusion for many in the Navarre community.

However Tim Wyrosdick, superintendent of schools for Santa Rosa County, said that the policy was changed so the district would be in accordance with federal law.

In a letter addressed to parents, students and school personnel at NHS, Principal Brian Noack outlined some of the changes implemented at the beginning of the 2012-13 school year.
