Study shows obesity rates rising

A three-year comprehensive study of school kids’ body mass index revealed that, in some cases, obesity rates are on the rise.
At an Aug. 12 meeting of the Santa Rosa County School Board, Debbie Price, nursing program specialist with the Santa Rosa County Health Department, said that while data was under state levels, there was still room for improvement.
