Piecing together politics at Boys State

While some students opt to spend their summer vacation laying about, four Navarre High School seniors signed up for a rigorous week in Tallahassee, learning the ins and outs of state politics.

Zach Ledford, Ryle Cannon, Matthew Reyes and Matthew Erwin, all 17 and Naval Junior ROTC cadets, spent July 8 – 14 in the state capitol as part of Boys State, a scholarship program of the American Legion.
