U.S. Rep. Jeff Miller said he was happy to be back in Navarre, but he is not happy about what is taking place legislatively in Washington, D.C.
Miller addressed the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce members during its Oct. 26 Commerce & Coffee breakfast. The first topic he discussed was the looming cuts to the military should sequestration come to fruition at the first of the year.
“I was pleased to hear the president say it’s not going to happen,” said Miller. “It’s the first I’ve heard him say anything about sequestration since it was signed into law by him, even though he will have everybody believe it was Congress that put it in motion.”
