Chamber organizes ‘Small Shop Crawl’

The Small Business Development Committee of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has organized Navarre’s First Small Shop Crawl.

“The Small Shop Crawl is a great way for the Chamber to work with the community and their small retail members to help drive awareness of their location in the Navarre area at the start of their shoulder season,” said Regina Carter, chairperson of the Chamber’s SBDC. “It is intended to be a fun and competitive ‘game’ for shoppers and yet help educate the community on what our members have to offer the community.”

Chanda Ryan, Chamber membership director, stated in a press release that a Shop Crawl map would help guide residents and visitors all around the Navarre area.

“The map will help shoppers hopefully discover some new and unique shops that they did not even realize were in the Navarre area,” she wrote.

Shoppers are invited to meet at Alphy’s Catfish House between 9-10 a.m. Oct. 6 to treat themselves to breakfast, pick up a complimentary shopping bag and get their map.

Shoppers are encouraged to visit as many shops on the map as they can from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in order to be eligible for cash prizes. The chance drawing for the cash prizes will be held at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 6 on the back deck of East River Smokehouse.
