Child advocates needed in court

The Guardian Ad Litem Program is hoping to recruit and train 75 volunteers by the end of the year to be children’s advocates in the First Judicial Circuit, which includes Santa Rosa County.

In an effort to support the children the program represents, GAL has partnered with Ruby Tuesday’s restaurants in the circuit for a Nov. 3 give back program.

“This means that anyone who presents the flyer and dines with Ruby Tuesday’s will earn the GAL program 20 percent of the total ticket. This event can be monumental for the children especially with the holiday season approaching,” Smith said. For more information, visit http://guardianadlitem.org.
