Baldomero family cherishes each day

For many young girl and boys, being a football player or cheerleader is a given.

The little girls don their cheerleading outfit to root for the home football team that is filled with young boys dreaming of being the next Drew Brees.

Laela and Ryan Baldomero have the same dreams and due to the efforts of the Navarre Youth Sports Association, Laela, 5, and Ryan, 8, will be a part of Silver Mighty Mites cheerleading and football team.

On the surface, it doesn’t seem like such a big deal as many other 5 and 8 years olds are on the teams, but for their parents, Eddie and Allison, it is truly a dream come true.
