Old church building offers new encounters

An old church building is having new life breathed into its aging structure through the hard work of the Rev. Kyle Jernigan and his Assembly of God congregation.

Jernigan was contacted in December about the church on 2301 Nightingale Ave., in Gulf Breeze. At that time, he was leading services in a store front in Midway.

“We started to grow to about 20 adults,” Jernigan. “We needed a better space and the district office called. The building was paid for and I was asked if I wanted to use it.”
