Faithfully serving military families

Deanna Cook, wife of a retired military man and the mother of an active duty son, said her focus is ministering to military families, and as First Baptist Church of Navarre’s military ministry team leader, she coordinated their military appreciation event.

“May is Military Appreciation Month, and we feel a strong connection to the military and we wanted to get community support for the military and show them appreciation,” said Cook.

The First Baptist Church of Navarre and Calvary Coastline Chapel co-sponsored the military appreciation event at the Sandpiper Pavilion on Navarre Beach May 21.
