More parents opting to pamper their tots – eco-friendly style

     Shortly after Kathy Daniels gave birth to her daughter, she said she found the cost of motherhood to be overwhelming.

"I remember standing in the diaper aisle at Wal-Mart, crying," she said. "I just couldn't believe how expensive everything was. We prepared – just not enough, I guess."

When Daniels' daughter Lily was just a few months old, Daniels stopped buying diapers altogether, opting instead for cloth diapers, a decision she said has had a profound effect on both her finances and her confidence as a mom.
