With the threat of our shore's invasion by the creeping oil spill, the 59^th National Day of Prayer took on a unique tone on May 6 on the Santa Rosa County Courthouse front lawn.

 

"This is a very important event in our community, especially in light of what is happening offshore," said Lane Lynchard, county commissioner from District 5 and the commission's vice-chairman, "It brings people together to reflect on things, especially those that are out of our control."
