Park Service seeks comments on public watercraft use

The National Park Service is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement to evaluate the use of personal watercraft in Gulf Islands National Seashore.

Dan Brown, Gulf Islands National Seashore superintendent, announced Feb. 5 that the NPS has published a Notice of Intent in the Federal Register. This begins the evaluation process with the first step being public input.
