Repairs on the Navarre Beach Causeway and sound relief bridge will begin Oct. 15 and are expected to last six months.
During a Sept. 13 board of county commissioners meeting, County Engineer Roger Blaylock recommended the commissioners hire Structural Preservation System, LLC to complete the repairs. According to the minutes, Blaylock recommended the bid “in the amount of $2,465,734.68 for the Navarre Beach Bridges Rehabilitation project as the low bidder meeting specifications.”
