TDC tables Chamber grant requests

The Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council tabled two grant requests from the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce during a Sept. 19 meeting.
The Chamber requested grants for Christmas in the Park and Fun Fest 2013. The south-end TDC committee recommended the TDC approve the two grants and didn’t recommend that the TDC approve a third grant request for $1,000 to help pay for tents, tables and chairs during the 2012 Taste of Navarre.
