Tenacious turtles overcome the odds

The turtle patrol on Navarre Beach witnessed the process of 43 sea turtle hatchlings making it to the Gulf of Mexico on July 25.

 The nest that hatched was the same one that was vandalized in May and had to be relocated by the turtle patrol.
