Visit Florida’s Beach Walk is reported to have had more than 4,000 volunteers Saturday and more than 4,500 photos uploaded to the Visit Florida website. Navarre area photos include a bride by the pier and many scenic snapshots.
Daisy Troop 719 leader Dana Jeffries brought out two of her troops, Katie Barrett and Carlie Jeffries, both students at Holley-Navarre Primary and six-years-old. “We wanted to help show how pretty Florida Beaches are,” said troop leader Jeffries. The girls saw lots of wildlife, including jellyfish that were washing up on shore and in the sandbars during low tide. Shells were also a popular photographic subject of the two young participants.
